False Pretenses

I came across this the other day. Someone analyzed all of the Bush administration's references to Iraq's WMDs, Iraq's links to Al Qaeda or both over time up to a shortly after starting the war with Iraq in 2003; it even shows a bar graph shedding light on an organized PR campaign to fool the Americans and everyone else into going to war with Iraq.

It's an interesting read. It kind of makes them all murderers in a sense, IMO.

Harry and Amy,

I could not agree with you more!

As someone who is the son of a career military man (my father was in the Coast Guard in Korea and Vietnam and served for 20 years), and as a recent Army Reserve Chaplain (just did my Officer's Training in 2007 . . .), I have seen such lies and cover-up first hand!

MANY service members are quite honorable, trustworthy, etc., but many lie, cheat to get ahead and if you try to alert anyone outside of the 'system' serious repercussions may happen.

Regarding Dick Cheney and George W. Bush, I fear that Cheney might have been promoting 'WAR, WAR, WAR . . .' strictly for financial reasons . . .

Thank you for standing firm for Constitutional allegiance as U.S. citizens! (if only the war-hawks in 2003 would have done the same then 4,000+ U.S. military members, 1,000's of Iraqis, et al would STILL BE ALIVE TODAY!!!)

Blessings and peace,
Rob
